Daftar buku itu terungkap dalam dokumen milik Osama bin Laden yang dipublikasikan Pemerintah AS pada pekan ini.

Sebagaimana diberitakan BBC, Jumat (22/5/2015), buku-buku berbahasa Inggris milik Osama bin Laden kebanyakan berupa edisi digital. Osama bin Laden mengoleksi banyak buku hukum dan strategi militer. Dia juga mengumpulkan buku-buku yang menjelaskan keterlibatan AS dalam serangan menara kembar World Trade Center (WTC) pada 11 September 2001.

Obama tampaknya tertarik dengan teori konspirasi. Terlihat dari buku yang membahas konspirasi Illuminati dan Komite 300.Rupanya bukan AS saja yang menjadi negara favorit Osama. Sumber bacaan Osama menunjukkan dia tertarik dengan Prancis. Dia memiliki banyak buku mengenai kebudayaan, ekonomi, dan kesenjangan upah di Prancis. Tak hanya itu, ia juga mempunyai buku tentang manajemen pembuangan dan perusahaan perkapalan Prancis.

Sebagaimana diketahui, Osama bin Laden mati dalam serangan udara AS pada 2 Mei 2011 di Abbottabad, Pakistan.
